November 10, 2008 - Erebus seeking new bassist
Erebus is an experienced metal band with professional aspirations seeking a bassist with similar attributes. This is an opportunity to join a band with touring experience, two full albums worth of original material, a dedicated state-wide fan base, connections with the finest venues and bands in the state, an offer from a major promotion company, and the dedicated members necessary to make a run at a label deal. Note we would prefer someone who lives in the Madison area, but all applications will be considered.

August 23, 2008 - New Song Recorded, Hiatus Over!
Erebus has posted a rough recording of a new song they have been working on. It is available for listening (and download) over at the Myspace page.
The recording of this track ushers in the fall as Erebus will begin playing shows throughout the state in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details.
June 8, 2008 - Erebus Weekly Videos
For each week until Dave returns from China, Erebus will post at least one new video from their video vault. There will be some backstage stuff, live performances, but mostly just zany crap.

May 27, 2008 - Erebus Photoshop Contest
Holy Crap! Singer Dave Frazer is contemplating cutting his metal hair. Tell us what you think a good hair style for Dave would be by photoshopping any hair style on a picture of Dave.
Erebus band members will vote on their favorite submission and the winner will receive an Erebus prize pack (an alternate prize will be awarded if the winner already owns the Erebus cd and t-shirt).
Contest ends 07/01/2008 so be sure to get your submissions in by then! Multiple submissions are allowed. Just send your submissions to erebus@erebusband.com or post them as a comment on our Myspace page.
May 2, 2008 - One show addition, one cancelation
Erebus would like to apologize to our fans in Green Bay about not being able to play Spackle on the 10th of May due to a scheduling problem by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We will definitely be back in the fall, but not before then because of our Summer hiatus.
The Ottoman Empire has invited Erebus to play alongside them and Dissent and Revolt at the Orpheum's Stage Door in Madison on May 17th! It's a FREE, ALL AGES show. See our Events page or Myspace page for more details!
April 20, 2008 - Erebus on hiatus for the Summer
As of May 10 (Erebus' last scheduled show for the year as of now), Erebus will be taking a temporary break while lead singer Dave Frazer travels to China to study abroad.
During this time, there will be many updates to the website including pictures, videos, and maybe even an Erebus flash game.
Also during this time, Erebus will be busy writing new material. About half of the upcoming cd is already written, and is still on pace for a 2008 release.

January 24, 2008 - Erebus Shows added to Events Page
Erebus has added more shows to their spring schedule. When all is said and done, Erebus will be playing in Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, and other midwest cities. During this time, Erebus will be unveiling NEW SONGS to lambaste your eardrums.
Don't miss Erebus w/Kill Junior on St. Patrick's Day! where there will be a FREE KEG of beer! Erebus hooks up again with The Ottoman Empire at the Annex on April 25th, and for those of you in Green Bay Erebus returns to Spackle on February 16th. January 6, 2008 - Erebus back from tour; now in writing mode
After a successful tour through the Midwest and Southern United States, Erebus has returned home to Wisconsin.
Erebus is currently in the processes of writing material for their forthcoming 2008 album, yet to be named. Stay tuned for more details, and get a sneak peak at some of the new songs at one of their shows!
December 28, 2007 - Erebus joins the Wisconsin Metal Alliance
Erebus has now joined the Wisconsin Metal
Alliance. The Wisconsin Metal Alliance serves local bands in Wisconsin
with the goals of aiding bands in promotion and communication. Erebus
is proud to be a member of the alliance along with some great Wisconsin
bands they've had the chance to play with such as Rictus Grin, the
Ottoman Empire, Hammered, Razor Fist.

November 23, 2007 - The Erebus official website has launched!
After getting the finalized version of the official Erebus logo, the website is finally done!
Merchandise is now available at our shows and online. CDs can be purchased at CDBaby.com! T-Shirts will be available online soon but for now, you can purchase them through us. We take credit at shows.
